The holiday season is a special time in Rockwall, and the Kiwanis Club is excited to invite you to be a part of a cherished community tradition—the Annual Christmas Parade. This year’s event is themed “My Favorite Christmas Movie,” and we can’t wait to see your imaginative floats on December 7, 2024, at 9 AM at the County Courthouse and heading into Downtown.
Why Register Your Float?
Participating in the Kiwanis Christmas Parade is more than just fun; it’s a way to give back. All proceeds from the parade go directly to the Kiwanis Club and are reinvested into the Rockwall community. By joining us, you’re supporting numerous Kiwanis initiatives that benefit local children, schools, and community projects throughout the year.
How to Participate
Registration is open until November 27, 2024, at 5 PM. You can register your float by visiting https://rockwallkiwanis.org/2021-parade-registration-2/. This is a fun opportunity to showcase your creativity, celebrate your favorite Christmas movie, and spread holiday cheer among thousands of spectators. Please remember, for the safety and enjoyment of all, the parade will not permit guns, Santas, or candy thrown from floats (though marchers may hand out candy). The parade begins bright and early with float judging at 8 AM, so make sure your float is lined up and ready to impress the judges and the crowd!
More Than Just a Parade
The fun doesn’t stop with the parade. We encourage everyone to enjoy the full day of activities planned in Downtown Rockwall. After the parade, stick around for food trucks, a snow hill, photos with Santa from 10 AM to 5 PM, and the enchanting City Hall Tree Lighting from 6 PM to 8 PM. There’s something for everyone!
