Royse City High School Key Club
The Kiwanis Club of Rockwall County is proud to announce the chartering of a new Key Club at Royse City High School, an exciting opportunity for students to grow as leaders while serving their school and community. The club officially chartered in 2025 with strong momentum and 96 members.
Key Club International is a student-led service organization sponsored by Kiwanis International. It empowers high school students to make a positive impact through service projects, volunteer opportunities, and leadership development. At Royse City High School, Key Club members plan and participate in projects that support classmates, local non-profits, and community-wide needs—building confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong commitment to service.
Key Club members meet regularly to plan projects, build fellowship, and develop leadership skills through hands-on experience. With support from Kiwanis and educator mentors, students set goals, lead initiatives, and learn what it means to serve with heart.
Service in Action
Royse City Key Club members have already made a meaningful impact through a wide range of service projects, including:
Nursing Home Visits: Spent time visiting residents, talking, and playing board games.
Trunk-or-Treat + Canned Food Drive: Organized and participated; collected 200+ canned goods donated to the North Texas Food Bank while hosting decorated trunks for local families.
Royse City Fun Festival: Assisted with booth setup, games, and cleanup.
Friendship Bracelet Project: Created and donated 100+ bracelets to patients at Children’s Medical Center Plano.
Royse City Pumpkin Patch Volunteering: Helped manage activities, greet visitors, and maintain event areas.
Fort Elementary Fall Fest: Supported setup and ran games.
Bobby Summers Fall Fest: Volunteered and assisted with setup/cleanup.
RCHS Campus Clean-Up: Helped clean up campus after school every week.
Monthly Food Distribution (Every 3rd Monday): Partnered with Royse City’s School Pantry Program to distribute food and load boxes into cars.
